Happy little accident that I ended up here, but I can't recommend it enough to anyone who loves guitars and happens to be in the area -even, no, ESPECIALLY if you're lost! The selection of electrics, acoustics, amps, and other accessories was fantastic (they had a Breedlove!), the prices were very reasonable, and the owner (whose name I have sadly forgotten) was both incredibly hospitable and knowledgeable. He even took $100 off the guitar I ended up buying because it had a very minor scuff on the body I hadn't even noticed. In short, I don't know if I will ever been in, or even near, Oneonta again, but if I am, I will be sure to take a stop by this fantastic shop!
John is awesome! He's very knowledgeable about his instruments and has a wonderful selection. I picked up a beautiful Ortega classical guitar here. I was able to stop by thanks to being on vacation but I wish I lived closer to come by again.
What a great store!! I've been on a hunt for a certain guitar to round out my collection and haven't found what I was looking for. Stopped in on a whim and met John, explained what I wanted and he walked me over to one by a manufacturer I wasn't familiar with and said I might want to try it out. Needless to say, new guitar in my living room and I can't put it down.. If you're anywhere near Oneonta stop in and meet John, super guy.
First time experience was great! John is super knowledgeable and could answer just about any question you could have. Very friendly to beginners too. Prices are reasonable and flexible as well. I definitely recommend coming here for both experienced and inexperienced musicians alike.
They're friendly and helpful, didnt care how nervous I was. they have a few Tagima's and one guitar I think is a Stella DW. Pretty cool store.
John is super helpful and knowledgeable. Had a great experience here and highly recommend it!
